The one that started it all

My very first purchase as a collector.  Or to be more precise, purchases.  Finding a complete boxed model in good condition is a Bond mission in itself.  You will pay top money for one.  I built this collection up piece by piece.  All original (beware of reproduction boxes, parts and restored cars). But the sum of its parts is worth it in this case.  Today selling the parts off separately is a lucrative business.  I was lucky and found all mine many years ago before it became a thing. The car is a little play worn but also due to poor manufacturing processes back in 1965 the cars were never perfect anyway.  What is good about the condition is that all the mechanical gadgets, ejector seat, rear bullet shield, telescopic over riders and front machine guns still work perfectly. The car also still has a spring to its suspension and good rubber tyres.  Missing from the original 261 version was the tyre slashers and the revolving number plate which were added on to the later 270 version.
