Thunderbird 2

There was something about Thunderbird vehicles that I loved as a kid, more than the show itself.  Unfortunately Dinky only decided to produce Thunderbird 2 and Lady Penelope's FAB 1 Rolls Royce. Those who remember the show will know Thunderbird 2 was actually green and the original 1967 Dinky 101 version was, and it came in a really fancy box too.  However a major flaw was its really flimsy legs that barely supported the weight of the heavy metal body.  As a result its hard to find a 101 model today without broken legs.  So be prepared to pay a small fortune for one complete and boxed. In 1976 Dinky released this 106 version in Blue, slightly larger and with much stronger legs.  Why they switched to blue is a story that has a couple of versions.  Maybe a topic for a blog at a later date.
